My parents want me to choose something to do for Labor Day. Well I have it down between 2 things. Either we got up to a waterpark/hotel and on the way home on the 2nd afternoon we stop off at Frankenmuth to eat and go for a boat ride. Or we could go horseback riding. The first time I went horse back riding was when I went to Hayo-Went-Ha. At first I was a little scared but then I had fun riding a horse. I wan to do it again. That's why I want all of my family to go horseback riding. So I have a really hard decision. After the horseback riding for the next day if we do the horseback riding we're going to paint my room! It's really light green. I haven't got my room painted ever. Never, not even when I was a baby it was always white.

My favorite part of camp was probably meeting a wjp;e bunch of different people and hanging out with them for 2 whole weeks. It was really fun because we became such good friends and sometimes at day camps people judge each other. But at my 2 overnight camps we didn't judge each other at all. No matter what they did that might seem weird to the rest of us.

Jiffy Mix Factory

So a couple days ago my friend Lilly S. invited me to go with her to the Jiffy Mix factory for the 2nd time! There was a problem with the road. But then her mom called and said she was sick. So we have to reschedule for the 3rd time!! Also I like the hiccup queen. I had the hiccups like 10 times today. It was on and off, all day long.

2 days ago my parents told me that next summer I can olny go to one camp. Blue Lake or Hayo-Went-Ha. That's why I'm making a pro's and cons list.


Pro's for Blue Lake

1.  We had electricity and a barthroom attached to the cabin
2. We get better at playing our instrements
3. They give you 1 1/2 hours to do what you want

Cons for Blue Lake

1. We have to practice for about 4 hours a day
2. We only get a lunch break, rec break, and dinner break, but we have almost all of the time after supper to play
3. There was so many daddy long legs, there was 2 to 3 in everyone's suitcase

One cold winter day, Liz who was super-duper rich. I mean so rich she took baths in her money. With her 2 mean and super annoying sidekicks decided to go sledding. Sledding to them meant they'd hire someone to pull them on a super expensive sled. But at the same time some kind good working aliens from Mars went down to Earth in they're spaceship with they're selfish scanner, to help people realize the meaning of Christmas sprit. Because, well, it was Christmas Eve!  Now you can guess that they found Liz right away. So they took her to there planet.

Labor Day

What are you doing for Labor Day? Maybe you might go shopping, or you might go to the lake. Maybe you might just stay home. I don't know, because I don't even know what my family's going to do for Labor Day. Maybe we're going to go to a park and go fishing, swimming and have a picnic.

Yesterday I was supposed to go to the Jiffy Mix factory with Lilly S, her brother and Haven. But when we got on the road the highway was blocked. So we went to the Farm Park instead. There were a ton of cool things for us to play on. There was a spider web, and climbing towers.  Then we went to Cranbrook science center. We made our own birthstone necklaces. They were real birthstones. My birthstone for June was Moonstone. Then we went to look at the owls.

Skipps

I went to Skips canoe park. Me and my family went canoeing there. Its an 8 mile canoe trip! Thankfully I'm not the one paddling.  I sat in the middle while my parents paddled. We saw mating turtles! They were in the middle of the river and they were really noisy! We also saw fish, cranes, ducks, geese, and other types of birds. We stopped at a park to take a beak and eat lunch. Then we went on canoeing. I had a raft but it wasn't designed for the river.:( Then we went straight until we were done. Along the way we had a lot of fast rapids. It was fun except that we hit a couple of rocks. You should try it.

Today I did my back to school shopping. I can't wait until school starts!! I love school! I had to buy all new everything. It took almost an hour. Then we had to go to registration. Where I got to see what locker I got and what my choice hours were. I got the Ripple Effect, Rec Swim, and Cross Country. As soon as I got home my mom and I ate lunch, noodles with cucumbers. It was delicious!!! Then I did all of my homework then I got out all of my school supplies and put my name on all of it. I'm really excited for the first day of school!

Pita Bread

Today I made Pita Bread with the help of my mom. So after we had lunch, salmon with potatoes we waited a little while and then I made pita bread. I cooked it and then after I got out some hummus and I dipped the pita bread into the hummus and it was sooooooooo good. Then my mom made a Korean version with hot sauce and green peppers. It was pretty good. I'm planning on making pita bread again. :)

I can't wait until the first day of school? Can't you? School is sooooooooo much fun! My favorite subjects are math, LA, SS, science, and Spanish. I also like art, and engage.

Private Teacher

Today I had my first private lesson for the cello! (Yay) I was sooooooo excited. So my mom and I got there at exactly 2:00 when my private lesson starts. But she wasn't there.:( We waited until 2:30 then finally she came. She asked me to play a bunch of different things. We jumped all around. Until she asked to play the very last song in the book. She said I only need to work on one thing and that's my 2nd finger on the A. She said that at my 2nd and 3rd lessons I can learn 2nd, 3rd and 4th position! I'm really excited!

Sand Dunes

When I went to Hayo-Went-Ha the Pathfinders (my age group) went on a trip to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes! I was really excited. Until I found out that I was sharing a very small tent with 4 people! We were cramped. We could barley move let alone put all our stuff away. Also they have this rule call "No trace" I hated it. Because that meant we hade to eat every last thing on out plate. We if we didn't like we still had to eat it. Now we had to eat outside and if we dropped some food, guess who ate it? We did even if it got all covered in dirt and rocks and mud. We still had to eat it. (Gross) On the first night we had a campfire and had smores! Yum. The second day. We had to get ready to hike the sand dunes. First we had to Walk there and it was about 1/2 a mile to get there. The only thing we could pack for lunch was a sandwich. We had to hike 28 dunes, there and back! One kid fainted. I almost fainted. But not quite. But the fun thing was that when we got there we got to swim in lake Michigan. Then it was time to leave. The funny thing was that the walk back seemed quicker that the walk there. On the last sand dune until we could get back to the campsite we all ran down it. The one thing that made me mad was that they didn't give us any snacks expect for tiny baby carrots! When we got to the campsite they gave us apples and wheat thins. For dessert we got... Ice Cream!!! It was such a good treat. They even gave people 5th serving. But they were about as big as you eyeball! The next day we left to go back to camp! We ate lunch right after we got back. Yum.
