Science Olympiad AHW Part 2

 

 

 

"4th place for Pentathlon is West Maple!" The announcer shouted. "Ugg" Zoe and I moaned. "I don't think we did very well." Zoe moaned. "We did fine." I said. "Are you sure?” Zoe asked me. “Yes, I’m sure, now listen they’re calling 3^rd place.” “Fine, I’ll listen. I hope they call us.” She replied. “So do I.” I answered. “For 3^rd place in Pentathlon is BCS Team 1!” The announcer shouted. “Yes!” We exclaimed. We jumped up at the exact same time and ran up to the front with our team. We were excited because we didn’t know we did that good, we thought we might of gotten 5^th place not 3^rd. “Great Job.” Our principle said to us as he gave us our medals as we walked proudly back to our seats.

"For Weather Or Not, 1st place is BCS team 1!" The announcer shouted out. Me and my friend Zoe jumped up and quickly walked to the front to receive our medals. "Good job!" My friend, Taylor from Greenfield said as I walked by. "Thanks." I replied. As we got to the front our principal gave me a high five.

I heard Mozart's music slowly drifting through Mia's earbuds. We were going on a field trip. We were sitting in the bus going to Lansing. The bus ride was about one hour and thirty minutes. That's a super duper long bus ride!! My mom was with me as a chaperone for the trip. She sat across from me while Mia and I sat together.

Dear Bus Station,

 I always get to the bus stop on time but the bus is always late to the bus stop and the school. Because the bus is late, it's making me late for school; making me fall behind in what we're learning. Everyday I leave my house and get to the bus stop on time. But the bust still isn't there. The earliest I've ever gotten there was 8:18 and school starts at 8:20. By the time it takes me to walk into the school it's already 8:20. There are lots of kids who ride the bus and I'm sure most kids don't want to be late to school.bwhen you're late to school you miss things they did in class and when you miss things they did in class you do bad in that subject. That causes you to get a bad score on your homeowner and the you won't get a passing grade. For the education of my classmates I am just asking you to come to the bus stop on time and to make sure they leave on time.

Here is a book report for the book Divergent and Insurgent.

I like both books but there should be a little more detail. Also in the 2nd book when Tobias starts to show up more in the book I think she should've wrote what they both were thinking. Not just showing what Tris thinks. But overall the books were very good.

 

PS: I really want to read the 3rd book. I don't know where to find it though:( 

My AHW

What would you do if you found some money lying around on the floor at school with no one around? Would you report it to the first person you saw, would you tell the people closest to you at the time, would you stuff into your pocket without anyone seeing, would you give it to your best friend? Would you tell the office if you found a big bill like a 50 or 100? I would ask the people closest to me at the time but I won't tell them the amount. I'd do that because anybody could say "Yeah, that bill belongs to me." but you won't know if they're lying or not. But if it is a big bill I would tell the office but ask them not to tell the whole school because the office will be crammed with people all saying they own the bill. That's what I'd do if I found some money.

I'm sooooooo happy! We got our $12,000 and we got $8,000 more as well!! I couldn't believe it! I was so surprised and happy. They also are going to send us and the Zambians technology.

One more or less normal spring day I was walking along the busy street while people, cars and trucks were passing by. Most people shouted "Hey, Buddy or Whatca doin' Buddy?" After a little while I came across a fire hydrant and it looked so interesting. I decided to go over there and give it a sniff. While I was sniffing I had the sudden urge to go. So then I went. "Hey, what are you thinking?" They all shouted out. "I don't know." I tried to say. But I found out I just couldn't. "Lets go Buddy." someone said in a mean voice. "You're going to confinement." He growled. "Ohhhh." I whimpered. I then got thrown into the back of a cramped truck. It was smelly, small, and dirty. After about 3 hours we stopped. I though that we were going to get a snack break; I was starving. But instead I was thrown into a building and was forced to not to whimper at all. I looked up at the ceiling and thought to myself. How could've I gotten into so much trouble. Then I thought to myself, maybe I gotten into all this trouble because after all, I'm just a dog.

Today I am sooooooo stressed out because I have the competition for Science Olympiad near the end of March! I have 3 events when most people have 2 so I'm really nervous:( Also I have the Social Studies test tomorrow and I just have sooooooo much to study for and to do. But I'm sure I can do it.

Today I had one of the worst day's ever:(:(:( First I had to go to the dentist who did a bunch of dumb things that all hurt, which caused me to miss math, music, swimming, lunch, and part of LA. Then during Engage someone dropped my caramel chocolate blonde that Mrs. Jacobs gave the whole class and didn't even say sorry! The spacers that the dentist gave me are so annoying. I have to get them off 3 weeks from now. I'm sooooooo sad.

The Blast is tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooo excited, I really want to win one of the items at auction!!!!! I've never won anything:( I can't wait! Also lots and lots of my friends are going to be there! Yay:)

I always get to the bus stop on time bus the bus is always late to the bus stop and school. Because the bus is late, its making me late for school, messing up my perfect attendance. Everyday, I leave my house and get to the bus stop in time. But the bus still isn't there. The earliest I've ever gotten there was 8:18 and school starts at 8:20. By the time it takes me to walk in, its already 8:20. I'm sure most kids don't like to be late for school. They also don't want to get bad grades. Yesterday I got to watch the movie Catching Fire, even though I liked the book better, I still loved the movie!

"Let's go to the mall." my dad said. "Ooo, what for? I asked. "Since the old computer broke, we have to look for a new computer." He answered. "Fine with me." my mom sighed. As we got into the car we started talking about what computer we each wanted. "I want a PC, for sure." my mom said with an air that plainly said she though she was right. "Well, I think we should get a Microsoft computer." My dad said with his voice that he used to get his way. "No, we should totally get a MacBook!" I told my parents  "No, definitely not." My parents said together. "Why can't we have a MacBook?" I asked. "Because it costs to much and is too small." My parents answered. After this conversation ended, my dad pulled up into the parking lot. "Hurry, hurry." my mom said while rushing us. "We walked into the huge red, green, blue, and yellow Microsoft store. My mom and I started looking around and found a small tablet. We sat down to look and play with it. My dad found a worker whose name was Joseph. "Hello, how can I help you." Joseph asked. "Hello, well I'm looking for a new computer." My dad told him. "Oh, well do you want a touchscreen, or just a mouse computer?" he asked. "Ohhhh, you guys have touchscreens? I didn't know that!" My dad exclaimed. "Oh, yes of course we do." Joseph said. "Okay, I'd like to see them." he replied. "Well right this way." came the answer. My mom and I headed towards the tablets. "Come on guys." My dad called. "Uggggg." I groaned. "Why can't we look at the MacBook's?" I sighed. "After this." came the reply. 10 minutes later we finally went to the Apple store. "OK, I'm going to look at the IPads." my mom said. "Kay, we're going to look at the computers." my dad answered. "OK." Siad my mom. While we were looking at the computers my dad seemed like he wanted the Microsoft computer more. "Papa, you really can't be leaning towards the Microsoft computer, can you?" I asked. "Why not, and yes I am." he said. "But-but the Apple computer is sooooo much better!" I exclaimed. "We'll see, right now it's time to go home."

The next day.

"Shin Be, we're going back to the Microsoft store because we might, 'might' get the computer. "Well, I still want a computer so I'll be happy if we get that one." I said, but inside I was jumping with excitement. "Ok." My mom agreed. I couldn't believe it we were probably going to get a huge computer with a touch screen!!!!!!  The whole time there I was rushing, rushing, rushing!!!!! I couldn't wait, till the big, shiny touch screen computer is mine!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my Criterion essay

Reading is something where you can learn things or you can take adventures to places you never been. It helps you learn things and you can go your own pace, because some people think their class goes to faster slow. If you don't like informational books than you can read fiction books. Those books can take you places you've never imagined. Sometimes you learn more from books than you sometimes do in class. Most times when you sit down and your mom tells you that its time to eat. You would think you only read for 10 minutes, but you read for 1 hour! Sometimes you will come across a book that you think is boring, or is bad. You don't need to stop reading, just find your topic that you like the most! Almost everyone who picks up a book ends up liking books! That's what reading is and how its fun!
