Move Up Day

I walked into Mrs. Korhman's room when she saw me and said, "Oh, Hi take a seat anywhere and here's the schedule for today."
"Ok, thank you." I told her, shyly.
I sat down next to Megan, Jewel and Olivia and we started talking about how nice Mrs. Korhman was. We rotated between Mr. McCloud, Mrs. Giesler, Mr. Emmi, Ms. Weage, Ms. Share. They were really nice teachers and I hope I get them as my teacher next year! They're all so nice I can't wait until next year!

Summer Packet

When I woke up on Saturday, I slowly, Slowly went into the kitchen, where I saw my dad reading something.
"Good morning." I told him and he responded with a "Good morning Shin Be."
"What's that?" I asked pointing to the large packet he was reading.
"Oh, that's your summer packet." He told me.
"What!? That things huge!" I exclaimed.
"You have to read King Arthur too, for the language arts section of it."  He told me. After I ate breakfast I looked at the packet and decided to get a head start. I did the vocabulary section about words from the King Arthur book. I'm going to work on a little more when I get the King Arthur book, so I can read it and answer the questions. 

Teacher Letter

Today as I was sitting on the bus playing on my Ipad, Amanda leaned over to me and said "Hey, Jewel said that she's in Korman and so are you, Olivia and Megan C." She told me.
"Really?" I asked. "Yes, I'm with Megan and Jewel and Olivia. I'm glad because I know all them pretty well and they really nice. I know that I'm going to have to spend my time so you can get everything done and not scramble to do it at the last minute. I'm really excited for 7th grade.

Strohs

"What should I get?" I asked. I was at Stroh's Ice cream place, I just ran there from school with the track team. I ran there with Vivian and Josie. We were standing inside when Amanda came up to us and said, "Hey, do you guys want water, 'cause there's water over there?"
"Sure!" We all replied in unison.  Soon enough Amanda came over almost dropping 1 of the cups she was holding. In the end I ordered  one scoop of rainbow sherbet and one scoop of lemon sorbet. Vivian got the same thing as I did and I loved it! Partly because I just ran 1 and 1/2 miles and partly because it tasted good. I'm signing up for track again next year but not cross country because I have forensics and science Olympiad. But at least I'm doing track!

"Oh, we're going somewhere at 6:00." My dad told me right after I got off the bus and he said hello.
"Ooo, where? Where? Where" I eagerly asked.
"Ok, I was on the computer all day looking for places you can volunteer at. But everywhere said you have to be at least 16 years old, but the Library said that you can volunteer there, and you can count it as community service." My dad told me.
"Oh, that's great! Are you sure that it'll count?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm positive."  He said. I'm really excited for the meeting, and we have to get there early because they don't accept everyone. I think its first come, first serve, if you already registered. I can only do some of the events, but its going to be at least 5 hours, which is good. I can't wait until the summer time because I have so much stuff to do! I can't wait:)

Concert!
Thursday is the day when I have to preform my solo song with Catherine. We've only had about 1 week to practice the song, but my dad told me not to make excuses for myself. We're going to meet on Tuesday during choice hour and before the concert this Thursday. I really hope we can get it to sound really good and professional! I also excited for the whole orchestra songs, which are Cannon Power, Dark Visions and House of Untold Horrors. My favorite is House of Untold Horrors, then Dark Visions then Cannon Power. I can't wait 'till Thursday.
