AHW (Bowling Part 3)

I'm going to talk about bowling yesterday even though I'm a little late. So Ania, and Mia both came to my choice hour about 10 minutes before the bell rang. So we just talked. Then as soon as the bell rang we all went outside to my mom's car when she was going to drive us to Thunderbird Lanes. (the place where we were going to bowl) When we were about to leave we saw Mr. Joe going out to his car so we rolled down the window and we yelled out "Hi, Mr. Joseph!" So he came over to our car and said he would meet us there. In the car we turned on some music from Mia's IPad and Mia and I started to sing. Now let me tell you something about our singing. We were awesome!!! Even though Ania says it C+ I think its an A++. Then when we got there we went over to where Mr. Joe and Mrs. Roberts were and we all said hi. Then we got our bowling shoes and Ania said she needed a 8 and when she got one she said "Oh, I mean I need a 6" But when she got a 6 it was too small so she actually needed a 8 after all. Mia and I both got size 4's and we had to get Velcro on ours instead of laces! After that Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Joseph told us that they ordered 2 cheese pizza's and 2 pitchers of our choice of drink. So went over and we wanted Orange soda and Root Beer. Then we got the game started. Jack went first then I went then Mia and Ania. Finally Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Joseph went. I was really behind in that game, and after about 3 frames we got bored and we started to dance ballet and copy other bowlers. Then they'd look at us weird and we'd start to laugh. Then because we were bad luck, anytime it was one of our turns we wouldn't do it so we wouldn't get bad luck. Then after a little while the pizza and pop came and we sat down to eat. When we were about done we started playing 'ring around the rosys' Sorry if I misspelled it. We were also playing 'follow the leader.' First they followed me and I made them do ballet twirls and jumps, then it was Ania's turn and she made us  do all sorts of stuff.  Finally it was Mia's turn and she made us to squats and she even made up a dance with a move called 'The Shovel'. It was my turn to go bowling when Mia started the squats and they were so weird, I couldn't concentrate. So I knocked down one pin, but I had the bumpers on so I had to get at least one. During that game I was in last place. Then we started another game, and during that game Ania, Mia and I swapped bowling balls.

Right now I'm in choice hour and I'm with 2 of my friends, I'm not going to mention names. In a couple minutes Mia and Ania are going to come to my choice hour because we're going bowling together. One of my friends is freaking out about this, not-so-funny picture. Expect she thinks the picture is funny. And my other friend is doing homework and she is struggling to finish her math homework. My friends are a out to come any minute so I have to go.

Mr. Joseph 

I would recommend My Brother Sam Is Dead to my friend, Mia Gusho because she's interested in the Revolutionary War. I chose her because this book is about the Rebolutionary War. She would like this book becuase it's very supenceful. They would like this book becuase she likes books that have lots of action and books that have information about war. This book has action and the main character's father and brother are on different sides of the war. They both look at the war differently becuase while the brother is on the patriots side he wants to fight but the dad is on the loyalists side he doesn't want to fight. Throught the book there are little facts about the war above the chapters. And because she likes action she would really like this book because the boy has to keep lots of secrets. He also has to keep running around to help both sides. It supenceful becuase he has to keep some secrets for his brother but his dad would be really upset. But he doesn't tell his brother if he's going to keep the secret so it's supenceful. That's why Mia Gusho would like My Brother Sam Is Dead.

Essay

The story I'm writing about is Seventh Grade? The main character I. This story that I am writing about is Victor. 

Do you know a stalker?  In the story Seventh Grade by Gary Soto, Victor is a stalker.

Victor is a stalker becuase he stays behind at homeroom to spy on Teresa. That's kind of stalker because he's pretending not to watch everything thing she does. But he is, and during homeroom the teacher was saying something and he was just thinking about Teresa. Then when she talked to the teacher after class, he was listening to everything she siad. Victor wasn't giving her any privacy which is what stalkers do.

Another reason why he's a stalker is becuase during lunch he just looking for Teresa. The he pretends to study while he's outside, but he's just looking over his book for her. Then when he does find Teresa, he quickly moves to a table close to her. He's just trying to listen to what they're saying and he's daydreaming about her. Then when the bell rings he catchs Teresa's eye.

The last reason why Victor's a stalker is because he says he liked Teresa since catechism classes. Which means he barley knows her. But if he already knows that he likes her then he must've stalker her a lot. Because how would've you know you liked someone if you don't know them. So he must've stalked her a lot. 

In the story Seventh Grade by Gary Soto, Victor spy's on Teresa. Victor thinks that if he stalks Teresa, she'll like him better.

I'm sooooooo excited for tomorrow!!! Can you guess why? I bet you only 7 people know why. Mia, Ania, my mom and dad, Mr. Joseph, Mrs. Roberts, and myself! I'm going bowling tomorrow after school with Ania and Mia. We're bowling with Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Roberts. Mia and Ania are going to leave their choice hour's 10 minutes early to come to my choice hour, which is Study!!! For those of you who know me, I LOVE school and things like that!! So that's why I'm happy about my choice hour. Then when the bell rings we're going to go to the front office and go out to my moms car. My mom is going to drive all of us to the bowling alley. So that's why I'm so excited!

Today and yesterday were great days! Now, let me tell you why. First on Sunday my family and I went to the Polish Country Fair, even though we're not Polish. It was bigger than I expected. There were so many rides and lots of games. I didn't play any of the games because the games are rigged so you can almost never win. But I went on almost all the rides. One of my favorites was this ride that was shaped like a spaceship and you went inside of it and you had to stand against these mats that were stood up. Then they would play music really, really loud and it would start to spin, and spin, and spin even faster till you could barley move and if you could move your arms it felt like they were being pushed back by someone 10 times stronger than you. Then the mats would move upwards then back down. My other favorite is when you get in this little car and it spins really fast, then after a little bit it stops and you think the ride is over. But it isn't, then you spin backwards really fast.  Then it stops. But those weren't the only rides I went on because I stayed there the whole day. On the way out my parents let me get a wax hand. I chose the peace symbol.

On Monday, my family and I went to Greenfield Village. They were having Civil War reenactments throughout the day. When we first got there we rode the train. Then we got off and walked around a little bit. It was about 80 degrees at about 10:00 in the morning. So we stopped and got some kettle corn. To be honest it was a little on the sweet side. Then we looked around some more and we  looked in the Wright brothers bicycle shop, where they made their airplane parts. Then we got in the long line for a Model T ride. Then it was time for lunch. We ate in the place where they served modern day food. Then we walked a little more and looked around and then had some ice cream. Then finally we went on a wagon that 2 horses pulled. When we got off my dad let me buy 4 peppermint sticks. I got pink lemonade, blueberry, and 2 other flavors that I have no idea what they are! So that way my Sunday and Monday!

Right now I'm watching a movie about modern day Camelot, it actually pretty good. Today was a really weird day. Today was a weird day because instead of math in the morning we had mental health for 25 minutes. Then we had Siracy as normal expect it was a little shorter than normal. Then we went to gym and instead of playing kickball he let me and Megan and Mia play 4 square instead. Then we had an all school assembly. I'll tell you the rest later.

OMG, I am soooo tired. I can't even start to explain how tired I am! That's how tired I am. Now, let me tell you why I'm tired. I just ran a mile outside in very hot weather. Now you might be thinking 'that's nothing' well for me a mile is really hard!  I ran that one mile in choice hour. My choice hour is Girls Run For Fun. After I ran that mile I wished that I could've stayed inside and practiced my cello instead. So that's why I'm tired.

I am sooo excited for tomorrow!! Can you guess why? Probably people in orchestra can guess this! The 5th graders in orchestra have a concert tomorrow!!! The best part is that I have a solo!! To be honest: I'm playing the hardest song in the book! My guess is that you don't believe me, but I telling the truth. Ask any of my friends. Anyway, the solo is Minute Number 2. It's a pretty long song, but it's really fun. I wanted to do a duet as well but the song we wanted to pick out was too short. By the way there is only 2 soloists including me! The other soloist is Aria. We're playing about 10 songs. So, that's why I'm excited for tomorrow.

I can't wait till June 22. Can you guess why? If you guessed that June 22 was my birthday then you are correct! My parents always take me to a place on my birthday, though I don't know where until we get there. Then 6 days after my birthday I get the best present ever!! Can you guess what it I? Well I'm going to an overnight camp. I never went to an over night camp before so I'm really excited.

What are you going to do for Memorial Day? We'll let me tell you what my family and I are going to do. First on Saturday I'm going to get all of my homework done and out of the way. Then maybe I'll out outside and read a book or something. Then on Sunday we'll all go to Greenfield Village and we will stay there for about the whole day. Then on Monday, Memorial Day, we're going to go to Kensington Park, where they have a water park inside and it opens on Memorial Day so I'll be there the first day it opens! Then we're probably go fishing, but on,y because my dad likes it. To be honest: I really don't like fishing that much, I mean it only kind of fun. Then we will have a lunch that we packed and if I'm lucky I'll get a ice cream. Then we'll go to the beach until it's time to go home.

I'm sooooo excited because it almost my birthday!! Except the bad thing is that. My birthday is right after school is out so a lot of my friends are going to go on vacations right after school's out. But this year my parents promised me I could have my birthday party during the school year! And I get to have a sleepover! It's like the only time I ever had a sleepover at my house. By the way I only went to one other sleepover. So that's why I so exictied.

Getting my teeth pulled out Part 8 (AHW)

Part 1:
Guess what?? Today was the worst!! Let me tell you why. So I had to wake up at 6:45 just to eat breakfast. By the way, I got to sleep in because I was supposed to get my teeth pulled out.  The appointment was at 9:00, but the dentist said I had to eat 2 hours earlier and I only ate 1 cheerio. After I got ready I got into the car and my parents said I could watch T.V. all day because after I got my teeth pulled out. They said I wouldn't want to do anything. I know? Hard to believe but true. So after I got there I had to wait in the waiting room. Then the dentist took us to the room and had to WAIT! Just about now, I'm getting tired of waiting. I just wanted to get my teeth pulled out and be done. That probably sounds weird, I know.

Part 2:
Finally when I was about to be bored to death, the dentist came in rolling a cart with tools. "OK, first we're going to give you 10 minutes of oxygen, then 10 minutes of laughing gas. That good?" "OK" After the 10 minutes were up they switched to laughing gas. The truth: I didn't feel the difference and I definitely wasn't laughing. I mean I would've freaked out if I did laugh. Then he gave me more numbing medicine with a needle! Isn't that great? No, I'm kidding I didn't want more needles. After that my mouth was numb. "Time to pull the teeth." he said.

Part 3:

They put this weird suction thingy into my mouth and they got out a pair of pliers. I know. With all the modern technology they have to use pliers??? That's just crazy and it also didn't help me to be calm. But then they just wiggled the first tooth and "I just took out the first tooth." He told me. I thought wow that was pretty fast. Then they wiggled out the 2nd tooth. But when they got to the 3rd tooth, that was a tooth that didn't want to leave my mouth! They wiggled and giggled it but it still didn't budge! Finally they just gave it one big wiggle and out it came! "OK, only 1 tooth left, you're doing great!"    He told me. The last tooth seemed like it had superglue on it. That's how hard it was to take out! The even tried yanking it. No luck. Finally they got it out, though I have no idea how!:) Now here is where my make a huge mistake. I looked to the side. Now you're probably thinking, how bad can it be? Let me tell you. Up until now I had no idea what they were using the suction tube for. Now I know they were sucking my blood. It was super scary looking at that much blood coming from your mouth.

Part 4:
So now they said "Just wait there, until we come back." The guy said. So I did what he said and just sat there and sat there and sat there. Now just about now, I was getting really bored and there was a machine making this weird sound like tick, Tick TICK! Then I looked at the clock and matched the ticking with the moving of the second hand on the clock. Just when I was about to explode, the man came in, with my father.


 Part 5: 
"How are you feeling?" my dad asked. "Uh, uh, UH!" I said. Then I stopped. I forgot I had gauze in my mouth! "You mean you're feeling OK?" I nodded my head so fast it might've fallen off. "OK, here are your teeth and you can have a prize for not crying and being such a good patient." So they took out a treasure chest and have let me take 2. I got a Frisbee and a top. "OK, now whenever your ready you can leave, so here's a bag of gauze and ice packs for the bleeding and swelling."

Part 6:
When I first got up I was a little dizzy so the dentist made me sit back down. "Why don't you just sit down for a couple extra minutes till you're not feeling so dizzy?" the dentist asked. "Ump." Oh by the way I was trying to say 'okay'. So finally I got up and I said goodbye to the dentist guy. (Though all I could say was 'ump'.) So I walked out with my dad. 'OK, here's the IPhone." he told me while he handed it to me. All I could do was nod my head to show I understood. So we got into the car.

Part 7:
When I sat in the back of the car my dad tried to get one of those instant freeze ice-packs to work. To tell you the truth: they so don't work! So he tried and tried but it just wouldn't work! Even I tried to get it to work. So finally my dad just got into the car and went home. When we got to my dad's store, I had to go in so my mom could take me home and get some medicine. "OK, here is the sheet you need to get the medicine." my dad said as soon as he said hello to my mom. "Got it." She said. "Oh, are you OK, Shin Be, did it hurt?" She asked, not even letting me say anything. But then again, I couldn't have said anything even if I wanted to. All I could do was nod my head. "Lets got into the car and get your medicine." She told me. "Do you want to go on the Ipad?" I nodded my head since I was bored and I had nothing else to do but go on the Ipad.


Part 8:




So my mom gave me the Ipad and I automatically went to my favorite game: High School Story!!! I love that game, and its about the ONLY game I like. So I was playing on that when I looked in the mirror and almost freaked out. Now let me slowly tell you why. The whole gauze was soaking red with blood and even started dripping out of the gauze. Scary! Even though I tried my best not to freak out I still did. I started squirming and letting out little moans. "Are you okay, do you want me to change your gauze?" my mom asked urgently. I nodded my head. "Are you sure?" Again I nodded. "OK, then." She quickly got out 2 gauze pieces and got tissue ready underneath my mouth and quickly took out one, then the other. The holes in my gums started to gush blood again. "Hurry, hurry." I tried to tell my mom. "I know, just stay still and open your mouth more." She told me. I quickly did what she said.

By the way, I got to sleep in because I was supposed to get my teeth pulled out.  The appointment was at 9:00, but the dentist said I had to eat 2 hours earlier and I only ate 1 cheerio. After I got ready I got into the car and my parents said I could watch T.V. all day because after I got my teeth pulled out. They said I wouldn't want to do anything. I know? Hard to believe but true. So after I got there I had to wait in the waiting room. Then the dentist took us to the room and had to WAIT! Just about now, I'm getting tired of waiting. I just wanted to get my teeth pulled out and be done. That probably sounds weird, I know.

Part 2:
Finally when I was about to be bored to death, the dentist came in rolling a cart with tools. "OK, first we're going to give you 10 minutes of oxygen, then 10 minutes of laughing gas. That good?" "Ok" After the 10 minutes were up they switched to laughing gas. The truth: I didn't feel the difference and I definitely wasn't laughing. I mean I would've freake out if I did laugh. Then he gave me more numbing medicine with a needle! Isn't that great? No, I'm kidding I didn't want more needles. After that my mouth was numb. "Time to pull the teeth." he said.


Part 3:

They put this weird suction thingy into my mouth and they got out a pair of pliers. I know. With all the modern technology they have to use pliers??? That's just crazy and it also didn't help me to be calm. But then they just wiggled the first tooth and "I just took out the first tooth." He told me. I thought wow that was pretty fast. Then they wiggled out the 2nd tooth. But when they got to the 3rd tooth, that was a tooth that didn't want to leave my mouth! They wiggled and giggled it but it still didn't budge! Finally they just gave it one big wiggle and out it came! "OK, only 1 tooth left, you're doing great!"    He told me. The last tooth seemed like it had superglue on it. That's how hard it was to take out! The even tried yanking it. No luck. Finally they got it out, though I have no idea how!:) Now here is where my make a huge mistake. I looked to the side. Now you're probably thinking, how bad can it be? Let me tell you. Up until now I had no idea what they were using the suction tube for. Now I know they were sucking my blood. It was super scary looking at that much blood coming from your mouth. 












Part 4:
So now they said "Just wait there, until we come back." The guy said. So I did what he siad and just sat there and sat there and sat there. Now just about now, I was getting really bored and there was a machine making this weird sound like tick, Tick TICK! Then I looked at the clock and mached the ticking with the moving of the second hand on the clock. Just when I was about to explode, the man came in, with my father.





Part 5:
"How are you feeling?" my dad asked. "Uh, uh, UH!" I said. Then I stopped. I forgot I had gauze in my mouth! "You mean you're feeling OK?" I nodded my head so fast it might've fallen off. "Ok, here are your teeth and you can have a prize for not crying and being such a good patient." So they took out a treasure chest and have let me take 2. I got a Frisbee and a top. "OK, now whenever your ready you can leave, so here's a bag of gauze and ice packs for the bleeding and swelling."

Part 6:
When I first got up I was a little dizzy so the dentist made me sit back down. "Why don't you just sit down for a couple extra minutes till you're not feeling so dizzy?" the dentist asked. "Ump." Oh by the way I was trying to say 'okay'. So finally I got up and I said goodbye to the dentist guy. (Though all I could say was 'ump'. So I walked out with my dad.

For almost the whole day I worked on my program. Now you're probably wondering what program I'm working on so let me tell you. Its an orchestra program for our spring concert. We're supposed to put our picture on it and decorate it an don the back write a letter. The letter is for your parents to thank them for keeping you motivated. That's what I did for almost the whole day.

Is it just me that I felt like today was a half day. Today was a late start so right after math we had lunch. For the first time in like 2 weeks I went outside with Mia, Ania, Claire, and Zoe. We all played 4 square. Then we took a social studies test. I was sooo easy. It was open book and we got to choose our partners. Then we had art then Spanish. After that we finally had LA where we read a story. For Choice Hour I had girls run for fun. That was my day.
