I would recommend My Brother Sam Is Dead to my friend, Mia Gusho because she's interested in the Revolutionary War. I chose her because this book is about the Rebolutionary War. She would like this book becuase it's very supenceful. They would like this book becuase she likes books that have lots of action and books that have information about war. This book has action and the main character's father and brother are on different sides of the war. They both look at the war differently becuase while the brother is on the patriots side he wants to fight but the dad is on the loyalists side he doesn't want to fight. Throught the book there are little facts about the war above the chapters. And because she likes action she would really like this book because the boy has to keep lots of secrets. He also has to keep running around to help both sides. It supenceful becuase he has to keep some secrets for his brother but his dad would be really upset. But he doesn't tell his brother if he's going to keep the secret so it's supenceful. That's why Mia Gusho would like My Brother Sam Is Dead.
